Hisham Yahya al-Talib was a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States from the 1970s onward.
History[]
Al-Talib was born in Iraq, where he joined the Muslim Brotherhood. He moved to the United States in the 1970s, became the director of leadership training for the Muslim Students Association and co-founded the International Institute of Islamic Thought. [1]
Al-Talib co-founded the SAAR Foundation [1] and was the organization's director in 1991. [2]
Hisham al-Talib was director of the SAAR Foundation in 1991. [2]
Hisham Al-Talib and Jamal Barzinji worked for the Al Taqwa Bank of Youssef Nada. [1]
Al-Talib was invited to the White House on March 30, 2012 to meet with Joshua DuBois of the Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. [1]
Safa Group[]
Hisham al-Talib was officer or director of over a dozen Safa Group entities including Mar-Jac, Lynx Holdings, the Sterling Ptech Fund, and Aradi Inc. [3]
